All those who organize events at Night of lights are encouraged to register them in the event program that appears on this page. This is how he appears in the complete program of Night of lights. Registering an event is simple. Click on "Register an event" in the top right corner of the page and enter all the information about the event. You can enter information in English as well and everyone is encouraged to do so, but it is not a requirement. It is necessary to mark the type of event and also when it will take place. It is important to submit a photo with all events. When the event is ready to be submitted, click on the field "Register event." If everything went well, the message "Thank you for submitting an event" will appear on the screen. The event is then reviewed and approved and subsequently published on the website. This can take up to 24 hours so there's no reason to panic if an event doesn't appear as soon as it's submitted. Good luck!

Preparations for Night of lights 2023 are now in full swing. The town of Reykjanesbær creates a setting for the festival with fixed events, but it is you who make the festival the wonderful thing it is. All the shows, the concerts and all kinds of diverse and fun events that spring up all over town during the Night of lights Weekend. This is in your hands. The town of Reykjanesbær encourages all its residents, associations and companies to gear up and consider participating in Night of lights, which will take place August 31 - September 3. Everything was with us and everyone worked together to create a great festival, both residents and visitors, event organizers, service providers, sponsors and even the weather was at its most beautiful. There have never been so many people gathered at Night of lights, and it is estimated that over 30 thousand people were at the festival area at its peak. Updated: Tariffs for Sprell play equipment will be over the whole weekend: Single ticket 500 ISK. Offer 1 - 10 tickets for ISK 4000. Offer 2 - 20 tickets for ISK 7000. Offer 3 - 30 tickets for ISK 9000. Special offers for residents of Reykjanesbær in fairgrounds on Nights of lights will be on Thursday, September 1 between 17:00 and 20:00. Sprell, who maintains the fairgrounds at the Nights of lights festival area, offers the residents of Reykjanesbær a special offer on tickets for their fairgrounds. Tickets can be purchased at the Sprell ticket booth at the festival site at a 50% discount. We encourage everyone to leave the car at home on Nights of lights and take advantage of the free Nights of lights bus. Buses will run their normal routes on Nights of lights with a few exceptions. Due to the introduction of Nights of lights on Thursday, September 1, all bus trips are canceled between 09:30 and 12:00. From 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, a special Light Bus will operate until 23:00 and instead of an exchange station in Krossmóa, you drive directly to the meeting point on Vesturbraut, where the festival area is about a two-minute walk away. On Saturday, September 3, the Nights of lights bus runs between 12:00 and 16:00 and again between 19:00 and 24:00 Order service will be available for residents of Höfn. The Nights of lights bus is free, it's Friday, September 2 from 16:00 until Saturday, September 3 at 24:00. Ideal for families and groups to keep the fun going with a bus trip, and the youngest generation will appreciate it.
